C-3P(N)O: Why Chris Paul is not an elite point guard

Let’s be real, when it comes to being a PTP (prime time player), a big game performer, Chris Paul is nowhere near the conversation at hand. Honestly, he has no one to blame but himself. Not to take away from the player he is; he’s amazing and deserves his rightful place in the Hall of Fame, but when the Clippers need him to be an elite player, especially in playoff elimination games, more often than not he forgets to show up. He has done it before; he came up clutch against the San Antonio Spurs in 2015 in game 7, but not consistently.

If I were an owner of a NBA franchise, and my team was playing in the playoffs, or a pivotal game, I would have to say I would not want CP3 leading my team. Instead, here are seven point guards that I would rather have driving my team.

These guys are true PTPers. They never shy away from the big moments, they never had subpar performances when the game is on the line, and they never let their team/fans down. I would take anyone of these players over CP3 everyday of the week.
