Top 10 Biggest Baseball Players in MLB History

Michael Briggs

The breakout rookie campaign of New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge has been exciting for baseball fans. Standing at 6-foot-7 and 285 pounds, the 25-year-old is one of the biggest baseball players of all-time. As if it wasn’t evident enough, every Judge homer – he already has 22 through 59 games — serves as a reminder that he is a mountain of a man. This past weekend, he hit one nearly 500 feet, the longest of the year in MLB. While players of his size and athleticism are uber-rare, he isn’t the only big man to ever play the game. These are the biggest baseball players in MLB history.

While Judge has taken MLB by storm this season, don’t expect too many players of his stature to enter the batter’s box soon. There just aren’t many men on this planet built like him. That said, if the NFL does not change the way football is played, over time we may see more athletes choose the safer confines of the baseball diamond over the gridiron.
