The Latest Ferrari Transfer Rumours

Ferrari are in crisis mode after their 2016 title bid seems all but over. Falling behind Red Bull in the constructors standings would prove to be another season of failure against their own high standards.

The Italian press have gone off-handle and fluttered over rumours in the personnel department. The current woes imply that Ferrari’s chief technical engineer James Allen is on his way out after a fall out with management.

He has been linked with a move to Renault. Should the move happen, Ferrari are looking to appoint Toro Rosso’s James Key as a replacement. Key has been heavily involved in the design of this year’s Toro Rosso, which has been a success so far. Imagine what he could do with a much larger budget?

There were rumours that Ross Brawn could be lured from his lengthy fishing trip away from the sport, but that’s romanticized bullsh*t to say the least. How many times does the guy need to say he’s done with the 24/7 job?

The lack of performance in the Ferrari has even shaken Sebastian Vettel, his contract runs out in 2017 and the German is yet to commit to a longer deal. It’s likely that he’ll wait to see what sort of challenge the Italian squad can pose in 2017 before committing himself.

Vettel won the Hungarian GP last year, a repeat would do more than settle some nerves on the Ferrari pit-wall.
