NASCAR: Kurt Busch wants to “Piss Excellence”

Brothers Kurt and Kyle Busch will be taking on the NASCAR Race of Champions in Miami this weekend. Will they “kill each other or be high fiving” by the end?

You know that feeling when your little brother takes after you in a sport? That one where you suddenly feel yourself filled with an unrelenting desire to not only educate your younger sibling on the finer points of the sport, but to remind them continuously that you’re better than them in every way? Good. Now, take that sensation and multiply it a thousandfold – that’s what you get when you’re one of the Busch brothers in NASCAR.

Both Kurt and Kyle Busch will be taking part in NASCAR’s Race of Champions in Miami, Florida this weekend. This marks the first time that younger brother Kyle will be taking part, and it looks like he’s been wise enough to heed his older brother’s advice.

He’s got the experience here, so I gotta lean on him a little bit, learn about the different cars and how he’s attacked this event before.” – Kyle Busch

While Kyle’s popping his cherry, Kurt is zeroing in on his goal, determined not to let anyone – not even lil bro Kyle – stand in his way. So much so that he’s channeling his inner Ricky Bobby.

“The way that the NASCAR will work around here – let the rough edges drag, just get your total Ricky Bobby on and go for it! I wanna go fast! When I wake up tomorrow, I wanna piss excellence!” – Kurt Busch

While it remains to be seen if Kurt will also stand atop a bridge and cast his grandfather’s old war medals into a stream below, it’s evident that the two will be giving it their all to carry their family name to fame.

“As Kurt said it’s not just NASCAR we’re representing but the US, and we’re brothers. We’ll either kill each other or be high fiving each other by the end of it!” – Kyle Busch

Godspeed boys. Godspeed.
