It seems for every week that goes by without a Tiger Woods sighting, more and more people have something to say on the 14 time major winner. This week, it’s Arnold Palmer (host of this week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational), Sean O’Hair and Bobby Vokey.

Some, like Palmer, are certainly qualified to share an opinion on one of the greatest to ever step on a golf course. Others, like Kid Rock or former pro Dan Olsen – probably not so much.

There’s enough quotes to go on a poster at this point. For kicks and giggles, we pulled the most notable opinions and decided to put them all in one place. Forgive us if we forgot any – it’s getting kind of hard to keep up.

10 Quotes About Tiger

“This is an opinion I haven’t given to anybody, and that is he should do what he thinks he should do with his game. I think he should find a coach that he has confidence in and go work on his game. There’s only one thing I can say and that’s practice. He has to regain the confidence he had when he was starting out and that was what made him what he is. And that’s the way he’ll get it back.” – Arnold Palmer, Wednesday at Bay Hill prior to the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

“I just think that he’s lost. The only reason why I say that is because I see it in his eyes, and I see it in how he’s walking and I see it in how he’s playing because that’s where I’ve been. I’ve been living it. “I just think that his mind is just a little clouded and I don’t think it has anything to do with his golf swing, I don’t think it has anything to do with the fact he’s not committed to the game.” – Sean O’Hair, Tuesday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Practice for The Masters

“All he needs is just a bit of confidence. Tiger knew how to do it, how to hit any shot. He could manufacture shots like you wouldn’t believe. He’ll figure it out. Now, could he be the Tiger of 2000? Nobody could be that good. But if he got close he’d be right there at the top of the game again.” – Bobby Vokey, Tuesday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

“Tiger’s struggling, I don’t think there’s any question about that. I think he’s struggling more between his ears than he is anyplace else. I think Tiger will turn it around. He’s too dedicated, he works too hard at it, he’s got too much talent. He’ll figure it out. And personally, I think he needs to figure it out himself, because a teacher can’t teach what’s inside your head. You’ve got to be able to put that positive thought into your head yourself.” – Jack Nicklaus, February on the Golf Channel.

“Tiger probably wouldn’t ask. At my age, 71, I’m kind of on the end of my run anyway. If he wanted, I’d be more than happy to spend a couple hours and give him my opinion. I don’t think he would ask because it goes against his pride. If I was him, I wouldn’t play until I’m healthy. I know you say you need the tournament reps and all that. Not necessarily. For him the big thing is the Masters. We know he knows how to play.” – Butch Harmon to GolfWorld in February.

“Even this last episode when he was so bummed and deflated, and for the first time he gave the impression he felt like a basket case, we still followed him to his car and watched him struggle to get his shoes off and drive away. I mean, really? Enough. I never thought I’d feel sorry for him, but I do.” – David Feherty

“Quite honestly, I doubt it. Not the way he was in 2000 on for eight or nine years.” – Greg Norman, Today Show.

“One disadvantage of living in Scotland is the weather, so no, I don’t practice that much, and I never really did. People say it’s to my detriment, but I tend to think of the amount of people on a range in a European Tour event, practicing their mistakes and cementing those errors. I never did that. Physically, I feel about 35, because I haven’t had any injuries. Tiger Woods is a classic example of how practice, practice, practice doesn’t work.” – Colin Montgomerie, Sports Illustrated.

“Nice kid. A little bit of an Eminem and Axl Rose syndrome. Very reclusive, literal, and sometimes you feel a little bad for them. Sometimes they think the world’s against them. You gotta loosen up, man! People are gonna talk shit. You just gotta enjoy it!” – Kid Rock, Rolling Stone interview.

“I heard he’s on a month’s suspension. … It’s kind of a strong witness. It’s a credible person who is telling me this. It’s not testosterone, but it’s something else. I think when it’s all said and done, he’s gonna surpass Lance Armstrong with infamy.” – Dan Olsen, 730AM The Game in Lansing, Michigan.
