1. Although a Texas native, Walker was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on January 16th, 1979.

2. Walker attended Baylor University, where he excelled on the varsity golf team.

3. Walker’s first professional win came on the Nationwide Tour (now Web.com). In February 2004, a then 25-year-old Walker won the BellSouth Panama Championship.

4. Walker played in 187 events without a win on the PGA Tour and then won three times in the first eight events of the 2013-2014 PGA Tour season.

5. His first PGA Tour win was the 2013 Frys.com Open.

6. 2014 was the first year Walker played in all four majors. He finished in the top 10 in each except for the Open Championship (Masters 7th, U.S. Open 9th, PGA Championship 7th).
