June 21st is Father’s Day, and if you haven’t already, it’s time to start thinking about what you’re going to get your old man.

If your dad is a golfer, then it’s not a bad idea to get him something golf-related that he’s really going to love. From clubs, to gadgets, to vacation packages, we’ve put together this list of awesome golf gift ideas your pop will love.

1. Zepp Golf

Zepp Golf is a great idea for your dad, as it’s one of the coolest and most innovative pieces of wearable technology in the golf space. Zepp Golf is an actual sensor that you mount to your glove. The sensor connects wirelessly via bluetooth to the Zepp Golf mobile app. In real time, you can analyze your swing pattern (in 3D) and get tons of super in-depth analytical data on your game. The app itself is free, but the sensor will run you $149.99.

2. A New Driver

Who doesn’t love receiving a new golf club, let alone a hot new driver? If your pop has been in your ear these past several months about needing a new ‘big dog,’ get him what he wants on Father’s Day. The TaylorMade R15, PING G30, Cobra Fly-Z and Callaway XR Pro are just several of the great options on the market. A safe bet is to upgrade from whatever driver your dad currently plays with.

3. Game Golf

Another great wearable tech idea your pop should love is Game Golf. This device clips to your belt and comes with a lightweight GPS tracking device that captures accurate shot locations and calculates club performance during a given round. Then, after the round, you can use the app to look at your round on your phone. It also lets you compare against other people’s rounds who are using the device. The tracker runs about $200.

4. A Great Book

If wearable tech isn’t your dad’s thing, or if you just want to get him something he can appreciate away from the course, try giving him a great book. One really good option would be Slaying The Tiger, which just came out this week. Penned by golf writer Shane Ryan, the book highlights the rising stars who are transforming the game of golf in the post-Tiger Woods era.

5. His Favorite Post Round Drink

A bad round of golf goes down a lot smoother with a great post-round drink in your hand. Whether it’s scotch, whiskey, gin or his favorite beer, get your dad a bottle of whatever it is he’s drinking these days.

6. A Great Golf Vacation Package

If you have the father of the year, then really splurge and plan a fun weekend at his favorite golf resort. TPC Sawgrass is actually running a Father’s Day special this year. The host of the PLAYERS Championship is offering three distinct packages, including one that has breakfast, a round at the stadium course and one night accommodation at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort & Spa. Purchase by June 22nd, the day after Father’s Day.

7. Golf Accessories

Maybe your dad needs a lot of little things? A couple new belts, a money clip, a hat, maybe a simple watch – a surprise package of a bunch of small accessories is not a bad way to go.

8. A New Range Finder

It seems like you can’t play a round of golf these days without the trusty sidekick that is a rangefinder. One of the best on the market? Well, it will run you close to $500 big ones, but the Bushnell Tour X Range Finder is as good as any that’s available. This bad boy measures distances up to 450 yards away and even adjusts for elevation changes. Another cool feature: JOLT technology. When the Tour X locks on a target, it vibrates to confirm you’ve found your target.

9. Indoor Putting Mat

Does your dad hate those long nights at the office? Ease his pain and get him an indoor putting mat so that he can step away from the grind for a few minutes. Pro Putt Systems has a wide variety you can choose from, although they are a bit pricey. For less expensive options check out Intheholegolf.com. You can get a good quality mat for as little as $50 bucks.

10. Golf Apparel

Does your old man still dress like he’s playing in a foursome with Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Ben Hogan? Time to time-warp your dad into the 21st century. Get him a gift card at a place like Sports Authority or Dick’s Sporting Goods. Or, have him browse online, where there’s lots of great golf lifestyle brands that will really up your dad’s wardrobe game.
