Jason Day makes eagle at RBC Canadian Open and celebrates with fans

Jason Day is doing a pretty good job of putting his disappointing finish at the British Open behind him.

Playing at this week’s RBC Canadian Open, Day hit what we’re calling the early frontrunner for shot of the tournament. Playing his second shot on the par-4 10th from the left side rough, Day hit a brilliant approach shot that landed just short of the flag, and curled in for a beautiful eagle.

Day quickly raised his arms in triumph, and then went on to give about 10,000 high fives to the spectators celebrating nearby. After playing the front nine even par, the eagle got Day to 2-under on his round.

Well done Jason.
