Tiger Woods has had a new restaurant in the works for a while and it’s just opened this week. If any of you anticipating a Hooters-style sleaze joint, you’re in for a disappointment. The Woods Jupiter has already received four stars on Yelp and many enthusiastic reviews gushing about the tasteful decor and ingeniously positioned televisions. Yelp reviewer Aaron K praises it for the “many TV’s in the right spots” and the fact that you get to change the channel. Jonathan P lauds the space as well, “Very good and elegant design, it makes you feel like you are a superhero on a break with a meeting with Batman and Tony Stark.”

What’s the food like? Well, reception’s a little more mixed in this department. Most of it’s standard American fare with a few bells and whistles here and there (bison burger, anyone?) and it seems to be inconsistently executed. R.A gushes about the deep dish s’mores while Jose Lambiet, while not a fan of the restaurant in general, does like that famous bison burger. But as ever, Tiger Woods has his detractors. Diane M. gives him one star for “tasteless mahi tacos” and half full drinks. Chris M. is similarly teed off by the “horrible atmosphere” and the bartender who “didn’t even know how to make a martini.”

Should Tiger just sell the golf clubs and get his cordon bleu on? Well, it still remains to be seen if he will maintain those four stars or if he’ll let them dip to subzero levels, just like his golf.
