Movember! Five Guys With A Stash On Tour

With Movemeber round the corner we look at some of the classic facial hair moments.

Since 2004 the Movember foundation charity has promoted men’s health issues by raising $622 million and helping to support over a 1,000 programmes worldwide. The follicly challenged amongst us aren’t equipped to finish the month with a substantial accumulation of hair, but that’s exactly what makes this a fantastic way to raise money and awareness. Here are some of the best and worse tash moments on tour.

John Daly

This tash was heavily prominent throughout the early part of big John’s career. He won the 1991 PGA Championship with this wisp of upper lip hair.

Rickie Fowler

Rickie has experimented with all manner of facial hair since 2012, it would appear that his inspiration is typically Jack Sparrow. Like that kid at school who achieves facial hair before anyone else, they are going to show it off and don’t care if it could be removed by a cat’s lick.

Angel Miguel Jimenez

Our affection for this eccentric Spaniard is well documented. As tash rules go, nothing about this look should work. Ginger, grey, sparse; yet somehow he owns it. Let’s be honest the signature cigar would look abandoned without the grin and stubble surrounding it.

Craig Stadler

‘The Walross’ has been a massive ambassador for the mo throughout his entire career. The winner of the 1980 Masters is a very popular figure and continues to compete on the champions tour.

Gary McCord

For many of us, this man and David Feherty were the classic duo on EA sport’s Tiger Woods golf. It’s not surprising that he rocks the most unique trim in the golfing world. Legend.
