In Pictures: The Historical Timeline Of Team Liquid’s AD Carry Position

In a move that stunned the League of Legends community, Team Liquid have re-added Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng to their starting roster on a temporary basis until the end of the Spring Split. As the Team Liquid roster experiences an overhaul once again, we look back at the historical timeline of Team Liquid’s prized AD Carry position.

The contracted Team SoloMid AD Carry was originally set to return for trials with the reigning NA LCS champions at the start of the Summer Split, following Doublelift’s decision to take a hiatus from competitive play after a disappointing 2016 World Championship run. Unable to live up to the expectations – with many analysts predicting a top four finish – TSM failed to escape the group stages and ended with a 3-3 record.

Doublelift would later announce his decision to take a break from professional play to recharge and focus on streaming, adamant he would would wear the black and white jersey once more in the Summer Split. But with Team Liquid in desperate need of a stand-in AD Carry, few could have predicted his Doublelift’s premature return to professional play to be a move back to his former organisation. In reuniting with Steve “LiQuiD112” Arhancet, Doublelift makes his second appearance on the Team Liquid timeline of AD Carries:
