Rory McIlroy does not have the most muscular guns at Riviera after all.

There is a lot of buzz around Rory McIlroy and what some would call his obsession with the gym. His attempts to fend off attention from female fans and criticism from the likes of vocal golf analyst Brandel Chamblee have been taking center stage in golf news right now, but our focus on Rory has distracted us from the fact that he’s only ripped for a pro golfer. With Mark Wahlberg hitting the Riviera course for the 2016 Northern Trust Open, we’re finally beginning to see things in perspective.

Wahlberg’s massive arms can barely be contained in his clothing, even when he’s attired in the most conservative of golf polos.

We don’t think Brandel Chamblee will be getting on Wahlberg’s back about his buff arms, seeing as he’s well-known for at least portraying tough guys with quick fists quite convincingly on camera. Perhaps Rory McIlroy’s next step  to shutting the naysayers up is to star in his own gritty, feature-length film about an underdog who’s hard as nails. He’s certainly about halfway there.
