Rory Is Making It Very Clear That He Has His Heart Set On The Masters

The spotlight was stolen by Jordan Spieth, who went on to win his first major at the Masters last year. This year there is even more competition as Rickie Fowler climbs the winning ladder, with Phil and Day not far behind. Rory may not be the top story at the moment but he knows what he wants and he wants to make that green jacket his.

“It doesn’t feel that different to last year,” McIlroy said at the Honda Classic interview. “I’m still going there with the same objective and same mindset. I don’t think it makes much of a difference at all, whether I’m going there being talked about, or if I’m not. Because I’m still feeling the same things that I’m thinking about. Maybe I’m putting pressure on myself, but I know what it would mean to me. I know what it would mean to my career.”

Anything can happen in the 41 days to the masters.. but we should all be aware of the possible Grand Slam in our midsts.
