Riyad Mahrez has been one of the many driving forces behind Leicester City’s, quite frankly, ridiculous and incomprehensible season. However, if he’s going to continue being one of the main stars for the final few games, the winger will have to hope his team-mates are okay swinging by his house on the way to training.

Mahrez, who has been attracting interest from Barcelona, has been banned from driving for six-months after picking up 15 points on his license. To put that into context, Aston Villa have only managed 16 as a whole team?.

Rather worryingly for the Foxes man, the list of players that he joins, in regards to ones that have been banned from driving in the last twelve months, doesn’t bode well for the Algerian with nothing but underwhelming footballers he’s going to be able to carpool with.

Gary O’Neil

The midfielder was banned for the same period of time after being caught doing 97mph and 103mph in 70mph zones.

The former West Ham midfielder was making the 256-mile round trip to training and  told police officers that he was late for training and risked being fined a week’s wages if he rocked up after the session had begun.

Darron Gibson

Despite looking like he’s gone through a divorce and currently shares a bedsit with Jack Daniels, Darron Gibson is only 27.

Anyway, the Everton midfielder was banned from getting behind the wheel after hitting a group of cyclists whilst under the influence – to top it off, the former Man United player was in his Nissan Skyline, a car that is only owned by boy racers or, in other words, bellends.

The Manchester United midfielder was banned after being caught speeding twice within six minutes, which is ironic when you consider that the Belgium international hasn’t run for a total of six minutes in his whole Red Devils career.
