The second annual Fore Twenty Golf Tournament will take place on June 30th at the Stone Creek golf course (more like Stoned Creek) in Oregon. This tournament was introduced to celebrate the growing cannabis industry in the Northwest region of the United States. Golf is used to promote business all the time and weed is clearly no different in that matter.

As the industry booms this year’s tournament will see 55 cannabis brands from Oregon to compete for best dressed, furthest/closest to the pin, and the lowest/highest score. Everyone loves getting the award for most honest player of the day.

The sold out event has been getting attention from celebrities and athletes as cannabis become less taboo in the States. This includes former NBA All-Star Cliff Robinson, who promotes weed as an alternative to addictive pain killers.

“Cannabis helped me deal with the physical and mental stress of being a professional athlete for 18 years. I’m so grateful that now in 2016 I’m able to put my beliefs to work, and help the sports industry understand how cannabis can be an alternative solution for athletes all over the world. It will be great to get out on the green this month and speak with all of these great companies that are helping pave the way for a brighter future.”

Grab your Fore Twenty snap back, your clubs and your dutch. Golf just got way more interesting.
