Paul Pogba’s announcement brought about a lot of relief, but not from Manchester United fans, who were delighted to finally have their man. No, it was from all the non-Red Devils supporters who let out a collective sigh of relief: ‘Thank God that’s over’.

Now that the fanfare has come to an end, and Stormzy has been silenced  – at least until the January transfer window opens – the attention on the former Juventus midfielder will now be all about the football and how he performs for Jose Mourinho’s side.
