Scientists have put together the ultimate modern-day footballer

Debates. Debates. Debates. That’s all football fans have left to make them still feel part of the beautiful game, so we engage in all sorts of topics with all sorts of people.

From ultimate XIs to greatest moments, nothing is off limits when it comes to discussing the beautiful game. But no topic stirs the passion in us more than who is the greatest player in the world: Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi? And it’s even got to the point now where Luis Suarez and Gareth Bale are staking a claim to be mentioned in the conversation.

It’s hard to even imagine that there could potentially be a better footballer than the Barcelona and Real Madrid gods. But if there were to be, then it would certainly be a player – bordering on a robot – who somehow managed to possess all the incredible attributes that make the likes of Ronaldo and Messi standout from the rest.

If such a footballer existed, like the one we’ve put together above; one with the swagger of Neymar, the ball control of Messi, the aerial prowess of CR7, the desire of Suarez, the ‘eye’ of Ozil, the speed of Wales’ favourite son and then the goalkeeping capabilities of Neuer, thrown in for good measure, then we all may as well go home.
