Manchester United legends exchange terrible banter over Instagram

Manchester United fans, remember the good ol’ days of Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra and Cristiano Ronaldo? I know, feels like donkeys years ago; compared to the mediocrity of Marcos Rojo, Phil Jones and Ashley Young, nowadays.

Well, it seems that the ex-Man United legends miss the playing days and dressing room banter, just as much as the fans.

The trio of Ferdinand, CR7, and social media guru, Patrice Evra, have all been exchanging banter and gags over Instagram…they must be as bored as us on the international break.

Bear crawls this morning.. working on core & shoulder stability!! These mornings getting cold & frosty! ❄️❄️❄️

What is Rio up to, here? We don’t care if you’re working on ‘core and shoulder’, Rio, you look like a fuckin’ senior advert for Pampers diapers.

Seems that former teammate, Ronaldo, agrees with us that Ferdinand shouldn’t be on all fours, and instead partaking in another form of exercise.

Hmmm ?, ok Rio.

The No. 5 wasn’t done there, though, as the BT Sport pundit proceeded to give further tips to the best player in the world, giving the Portuguese man tips to improve his already immaculate upper-body, (yes, I would get on all fours like Ferdinand did, just for Ronaldo).

This is a bit of you @cristiano ?? Exercise – Upper Body Pull!! #JustShowUp

And this time around, it was Frenchman, Patrice Evra, to chip in with a bit of banter for Ferdinand. We’re surprised the Juventus man didn’t jump on the whole #JustShowUp nonsense, as that is absolutely Rio in a nutshell… charged with unnecessary testosterone. Big day off needed there, pal.

Instead, the left-back went for a slightly stranger message, where he’s acting like some excited kid who has just been involved in his first ever playground game.

Keep up the ‘good’ chat boys, I’m telling you now, it’s a lot more exciting to follow than watching England on the international break.

Best,

Every England fan
