Comparisons are constantly being drawn between young players and the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, it is rare that a young player is compared to Zlatan. But evidently in Sweden there’s a striker that’s gaining the attention of all of Europe and has earned comparisons to the Swedish god himself.
At 17 years old, Alexander Isak is new talk of young talent as evidently 90 clubs were attendance to watch the young Swedish striker in AIK Solna’s last match. The kid is the real deal.
In 22 appearances this season, he has managed to score 10 goals. With goals at that rate, you can’t imagine the youngster staying in Sweden much longer. If the likes of Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and Borussia Dortmund come knocking, it’ll be hard to say no. Unless your name is Idris Kanu and prefer the English fifth division, but that’s another story.
6 Best Zlatan Quotes:
Without Zlatan to carry the Swedish national team, maybe this is the second coming?
I just watched a video of Mirabelli's target Alexander Isak and I tell u I have never seen a 17yrs old like him before

Zlatan wasn’t too enthused to hear about the news of a comparison and had some choice for those throwing the idea around.
There is obviously only one Zlatan. His a striker and Swedish, yes. But does he deserve to be compared to Zlatan? No, I don’t think so. Until he can score as many goals as I do or Dare to Zlatan, he cannot be mentioned in the same breath as me. Zlatan is King. People don’t get compared to Zlatan, not possible.
Odds are he won’t be the next Zlatan because in all honesty, no one can manage to be that arrogant or talk that much in the third person, but he’s a good talent that could provide some hope for the Swedish national team side.
Best case scenario, Alexander Isak is the middle ground between Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrik Larsson. Worse case scenario, he doesn’t perform and fails to make an impact on European football.
Whatever the case, best of luck to Isak having to deal with the shadow of Zlatan.
