Although we should all appreciate the fortune of being able to watch two of best footballers of all-time duke it out each year for goal scoring records and player of the year honors, we should also be excited that the new generation of ballers is primed and ready to take over.

The past eight years (soon to be nine) have been dominated by Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the pair have been basically untouchable. Thus, there hasn’t been another winner for the Ballon d’Or since Kaka in 2007.

Carlo Ancelotti has revealed his picks of players that are going to take over the throne of being the best in the world after Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have abdicated the title.

Dybala can make history at Juventus over the next 10 years. He is unique, you cannot compare him to any other player. Dybala and Neymar can become the heirs of Messi and Ronaldo.

The Italian isn’t wrong by any means. The pair are destined to be the next superstars in the world of the football once Messi and Ronaldo stop preforming at the top of their game.

The ability that Dybala and Neymar have is unreal especially since the two are still so young.

Dybala has the opportunity to work with Gonzalo Higuain (He’s good with Juventus) and a talented Juventus side on the daily while Neymar gets to learn from the other parts of MSN.

It has been fun watching two of the best players win the Ballon d’Or every fucking year, but it is exciting to know that it will actually be a competition again once the two slowly drop their level. But maybe it’s not possible, maybe Ronaldo and Messi will continue to perform and continue to win the award. You never fucking know with those two.
