Arsenal are one of these five signings away from winning the Premier League

We’ve lost count of the number of strikers Arsene Wenger could have signed, but his failure to attract a superstar striker over the past couple of seasons has many fans wondering whether indeed “he” will come to Arsenal at all.

Reluctance and hesitation to act has seen Roberto Firmino join title rivals Liverpool and Diego Costa switch to Stamford Bridge, to name just a couple.

Time and again insisting that it has to be the “right kind of player” et cetera, et cetera, Olivier Giroud (average at best and definitely not world class) is not getting any younger (or better, come to think of it).

Wenger simply cannot afford to wait any longer. Alexis Sanchez is better suited to the left wing and Mesut Ozil must be tired of having to do it all himself in front of goal. The less said about Lucas Perez the better.
