Barcelona and Real Madrid combined future XI

No doubt everyone has had ‘the talk’. You know the one. The one about where babies come from. Well, when it comes to Europe’s two biggest football clubs, Barcelona and Real Madrid, there is the assumption that there is an endless conveyor belt producing new babies, er, footballers.

Barcelona or Real Madrid?

It got us thinking. While La Masia and La Fabrica, (as far as we know it, and we’ll be honest, we don’t know much about it) haven’t started artificially breeding the future perfect players, there is still a lot of work that goes on in the background at both Barcelona and Real Madrid.

So, with that in mind, we had a look at what the result might be if we crossed both academies to find the best XI…

Doesn’t look like a bad team. Academys out in Spain just make England’s look like total villagers. Before every match, the national anthem is played, and there’s more decorum between the youngsters than a day out at Wimbledon.
