Yet another Michael Jordan golf shoe has dropped through Nike, and this time it’s the Air Jordan 13 that has added its spikes.
When Tinker Hatfield created this shoe in 1997, he sought to create the complete athletic shoe by taking inspiration from the massive paw of a black panther. The original Air Jordan 13 was created with agility and precision in mind, and the new golf versions are designed to include all of the features of the iconic basketball shoe.
This shoe follows the lead of the Air Jordan 1, which was released in January, and a few other limited-edition styles that celebrities such as Dez Bryant and Keegan Bradley have worn.
These will be coming in two color options, white/university red and white/black. The shoe’s midsole is made from a soft, forgiving foam that evenly distributes impact across the length of a foot, and its leather upper, which has a one-year waterproof guarantee, has various overlays that help keep the entire foot in place. This is perfect for those adventurous golfers who find their ball on uneven lies or near/in water hazards.
They will be available for purchase on Nike+ on May 18th for $200. See the new dope shoes below, along with the Air Jordan 1, just for options sake.
Rooney is struggling for England and Manchester United. No better time to bring the Englishman to the league! Wazza still has class and would fill that void left by Keane up top.
Highly unlikely, but bringing Chicharito to the Galaxy would be a major coup. He scores goals like no other and ticket sales would go through the roof. Viva Mexico.
The other half of the Second City Derby haven't had as much luck when it comes to success.
Birmingham City hold the accolade of being the first ever champions of the Football League's Second Division. However, their greatest period came back in the 1950s and 60s when they finished 6th in the First Division, which is their highest finish to this day.
They reached the 1956 FA Cup Final aswell as a few smaller competitions, with a League Cup triumph to their name in 1963 when they beat Villa in the final.
That feat was replicated by the 2011 squad, which was followed by a brief but enjoyable period in the Europa League.
Despite not being able to compete with their greatest rivals in terms of stature, they've certainly had their day in the sun on more than one occasion.
