When you hold the hopes and dreams of nation on your young shoulders and you’re playing for a top club in Germany at 18, things can get a little hectic. The meteoric rise of Christian Pulisic has been nothing short of grand, but would he better elsewhere?

Pulisic is obviously talented, capped by the USMNT, and young making him a prime target for a bigger club due to his great potential. Liverpool has presented itself as a suitor for Pulisic as Jurgen Klopp thinks highly of the teenager.

With the likes of Ousmane Dembele, Marco Reus, and even Raphael Guerreiro making their presence felt in the Dortmund side, Pulisic might need to leave Dortmund in order to find himself on the pitch. With Thomas Tuchel being a tight ass and explicitly saying they won’t be selling him, it might be in Pulisic’s best interest to get the hell out of Dortmund and trade it for Merseyside.

Although Anfield and Liverpool might lack the glamour of the Signal-Iguna Park and Dortmund, Klopp could accelerate the learning curve of Pulisic and have him get more regular minutes and learn from players like Phillipe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, and the Brazilian Englisman, Adam Lallana.

Liverpool has been known to suffer big L’s financially as they’ve spent big money on more than a few dodgy transfers (i.e. Andy Carroll, Christian Benteke, El Hadji Diouf, Stewart Downing, etc.) and Christian Pulisic would be a little pricey due to his potential and skill level, but it would actually be worth it. Jurgen Klopp is no halfwit like some of the other Liverpool managers back in the day and would make the most of the transfer.

Christian Pulisic has some important decisions to make regarding his future as a footballer and whether or not Dortmund can foster his potential properly.  He may never win a Premier League title at Liverpool, but he would be offered a golden ticket to fast track his ability.
