Tottenham Hotspur are probably the hardest team to face in the Premier League, at the moment; a combination of power, organisation and solidity, with a little bit of creative magic added to the mix, through the likes of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen – although nowhere near enough, but that’s for another time and place.

Mauricio Pochettino, no doubt to the surprise of Paul Merson and Phil Thompson, has put together a starting XI that has Lilywhites dreaming of finishing above Arsenal for the first time since 23 BC.

The former Saints manager has built a spine – the most important thing to any team that wants to be successful: Cech, Terry, Makelele, Lampard, Drogba; Lehmann, Campbell, Vieira, Henry – but Spurs’ reliance on a core five players, raises as many concerns as it does positives.

But who is the real star in what would be an unreal 5-a-side team?

With rumours of Real Madrid being interested in Harry Kane and Dele Alli, whilst Paris Saint-Germain harbour aspirations of bringing Hugo Lloris ‘home’, you have to wonder how long Poch has to make this current crop Premier League title-winners.
