As the second half of the Premier League season begins and January ends, we begin to see the intentions of clubs on who they’re going to keep around in the summer. But a player that is currently overpaid or not in form could be very valuable for those clubs looking for a bargain.

There’s many of the Premier League’s classic players coming to the end of their contracts, and it may well be time for goodbye.

Well it seems that Pep Guardiola isn’t happy with his team at all, with five players around his first-team looking unlikely to receive new deals. Anyone need a full-back? But with all these players potentialy leaving, does this show Manchester City are planning to play three at the back? At least he might actually stick to a formation then.

With so many high profile names out of contract this summer, China’s clubs will undoubtedly be looking to tempt further players from England over to the Chinese Super League. Whilst the likes of Yaya Toure and Zlatan Ibrahimovic could definitely continue playing at the highest level next season, will they instead opt for an even more ludicrous pay day.
