Talk around Alexis Sanchez’s Arsenal future hasn’t often left the thinking that the Chilean international will be out of the Emirates Stadium exit doors this summer.
The only saving grace from an Arsenal fan’s point of view, is that the Gunners appear to no longer be in a situation where they have to sell their prized assets to English rivals. However, Usain Bolt still feels there’s a chance for Sanchez to go all Robin van Persie on Arsene Wenger’s side.
“I know Alexis. He plays for Arsenal. He should leave.
“He would be great [at United]. He’s a player who I’ve always said [we need] over the years. We need someone who is capable of picking up the ball and creating chances for other people
“He’s proven himself to be one of the best.”

Arsenal fans will ironically scoff at suggestions that Jose Mourinho’s side, that they comprehensively dispatched of in north London recently, could even lure their former Udinese talisman to Old Trafford. However, Sanchez’s decision-making seems to be largely around financial gain. And that’s something United can offer.
Despite having no Champions League football, United have still earned £40million from their Europa League exploits, and are still the football world’s most marketable team – the Red Devils earn £530million on a match day, the highest revenue in the world.
And if money isn’t the Chilean’s only drive, then Manchester United will end this season with one trophy, and more than likely, will be adding the Europa League title to their trophy cabinet.
Arsenal, of course, could potentially add their third FA Cup title in four years. But they’ve got the hardest of tasks to navigate.
The truth is, Sanchez is better than both.
