This week we’ve talked a lot about the short game. We’ve heard from Master Craftsman Bob Vokey on wedge setup for The Open Championship and TPI Co-Founder Dave Phillips shared some advice on how to escape the infamous pot bunkers that cascade across the Muirfield layout.
And with the many different short game scenarios that are found on a Scottish links course, we’ve also enlisted PGA Professional James Sieckmann (one of the leading short game instructors in the game) to share some of his thoughts on wedge play at The Open Championship.
Check out the video above to see what James had to say about what it will take to execute shots on terrain that features tight-lies, gusting winds and firm greens. He shares some great advice that we will definitely be taking to the course the next time we tee it up.
