The PGA Tour Have Been Caught Photoshopping Player Headshots

  • Thomas Pieters is considered to be a rising star of the game.
  • The 24-year-old Belgian noticed his picture had been altered.

The PGA Tour have been very very naughty. Anger at doctored photos is normally the reserve of self righteous celebrities who pretend, after years of compliance, that it’s suddenly an outrage. We all think it’s dumb and in the words of John Legend, we love ‘perfect imperfections,’ so why do it PGA TOUR?

Pieters is a little scruffy, but aren’t we all? It makes you wonder how many other golfers didn’t align with the PGA TOUR’s vision of the quintessential country club golfer. Let’s see if you can recognise any of these players..

What did they do to golf’s bad boy? DJ looks like he should be handing out copies of the Gideon. The only mirror this young man stares into is one of self reflection – yes that was a joke about Cocaine, deal with it!

It’s not just the smartly combed hair, the conventionality of the profiles is striking. The hairstyles are so out of touch with how players present themselves on the course.

Is that you John Daly?! It’s incredible, the only vice this man has is an appetite for one of Auntie Mae’s freshly baked apple pies.

Wait a second there is still one man whose name is whispered in legend…

They say a PGA TOUR official once asked him to cut his hair, he was last seen walking the Arizona desert in a crazed delirium holding a 9-iron without his hands.

I know what you’re thinking, wow a photo of Jordan Spieth without an Under Armour cap on his head. We were starting to think he was signed as a fetus and was contractually obligated to wear one permanently.

Luckily for Jordan he might have hair for ever and ever if the PGA TOUR’s track record is anything to go by…
