PGA Tour pro, Daniel Berger, was up against Phil Mickelson today at the WGC-Dell Match Play. On the 18th hole, Berger was stuck between a rock and a hard place and ended up clipping his club on the side of the wall.

This could have been some karma from a few holes back, where Berger made Lefty putt a 1-footer on the 2nd hole. If you listen to the announcer though, she says you should always go into match play with the mindset that you have to make every putt, which I agree with. But this is Phil Mickelson we’re talking about.

It was an exciting back and forth match that was all square going into 18. That all ended once Berger injured his wrist on that rock wall and he had to concede. Phil Mickelson finished the second round at the Dell Match Play 2 up.

You don’t mess with the bear, Berger!
