Andrew “Beef” Johnston just signed an incredible endorsement deal

Andrew “Beef” Johnston, golf’s everyman and all-round top bloke, has just signed a sponsorship deal with the quick-service sandwich chain Arby’s. The loveable Englishman will have the restaurant’s name on both his cap and shirt, talk about a hole-in-one.

Beef is now 87th in the world, far from where he wants to be, but  his status is already immense.

Like Happy Gilmore, Beef is an ordinary bloke who resonates with the golf fan who is sick of our chino-wearing stereotype. Beef recently starred in a European Tour style episode of “Cribs”, showing off a castle befitting for a guy that “loves to get hammered” after a win.

Beef posed for photos and took it upon himself to lend a hand at Arby’s Times Square venue . He spoke with For The Win and was typically candid: “I’ve ordered enough burgers in my life,” he said, “about time I try handing them out for a change.”
