WATCH: President Obama v. Bill Murray in Oval Office putting contest

In the long view of history, the great success of the Obama presidency may be the President’s ability to creatively market the administration’s initiatives.

For example, President Obama on “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” ostensibly to discuss climate change.

Or, the First Lady on “Carpool Karaoke” on behalf of her Let Girls Learn initiative.

And since the Donald has established his preferred method of communication as hastily pounded out tweets, we might not see similar creativity to project pitching over the next four years.

Neither may we see the widespread support and willing to lend services from pop culture figures (see President Obama’s Anger Translator at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner)

Hell, there may not even be White House correspondents during the Trump presidency.

All that by way of saying, savor the overexposed (or underexposed, depending on your perspective about the aging comedian) Bill Murray visiting Barry O in his ovular workplace for a putting contest.

High marks for White Sox fan and confirmed trash-talker Obama, starting out with the burn.

Is Murray putting with a hickory shafted putter? Of course he is.

In the words of the patron saint of country club nobility, Judge Smails, “Top notch!”
