Natalie Gulbis could be running for Congress

Natalie Gulbis might be running for Congress, according to the Nevada Independent.

Gulbis reportedly met with Republican leaders in Washington, D.C. this week to discuss a potential Congressional run in Nevada’s third district. Gulbis is originally from California, but has made Las Vegas her home during her professional career.

She has only competed in 3 LPGA TOUR events this year, signalling the end of her career as she looks to other opportunities. Natalie has been a vocal supporter of Trump, and spoke frankly about her beliefs at last year’s Republican Convention.

“I believe that God’s timing is perfect, and he puts people in our lives to help make a positive impact on those around us, and to help us achieve our goals,” the 33-year-old said to the Cleveland assembly. “One of those people for me, is Donald Trump.”

“I believe this is the greatest time to be a woman in the greatest country in the history of the world, but I have no delusions that there isn’t a mess to clean up. And we desperately need someone to clean up that mess. That person is Donald Trump.”

Jacky Rosen, who currently represents the area, is running for Senate, creating a vacated seat for which Gulbis is reportedly interested.

“Republicans are excited about Gulbis, with her unique backstory and profile, while Democrats have no heir apparent in the Third,” “Lots of reasons to be confident about our chances here.”
